That's the thing about doing a series of columns revisiting forgotten albums y'see, just when you think you've got the next couple of months' worth all cued up and ready to write, one of the revisits sends you off down a rabbit hole and the next thing you know, you're blundering around the grimier outskirts of Sunset Strip in the '80s and pushing those columns on other groups back a few weeks.
